Barcelona to Berlin. It was 2008 when Carles left his native city where he was born in 1981, to start a big adventure in another city, in another land in the old Europe.
Working in Information Technologies, the first years were not easy in Germany as the weather and language made the beginning a little bit hard. Anyway, he was looking for unexpected situations, something not planned.
In 2009 started to travel as backpacker what changed the way he used to move around the world, meeting interesting people and visiting non touristic and unknown countries. At that point, in 2010 in Iguazú, the big waterfalls between Brazil and Argentina, he understood that a better camera would help to keep the best moments in his trips.
So, in the same year, and before to fly to Finland, he decided to buy his first reflex camera, a Nikon D3000. That trip will give him motivation to start some courses in the Volkshochschule in Berlin´s Kreuzberg neighborhood. This courses were about digital photography, portraits, photo documentary and Photoshop Lightroom.
In the meantime, music and street photography, events and weddings were the priorities as traveling was only allowed on holidays. After visiting Sweden, North Korea and Norway, to get a better camera and better lenses was a priority, so before to arrive to Cuba and after it, Iran in 2013, he got a full frame camera what is currently using.
